在寒冷地区，朝天椒和樱桃西红柿可以在室内过冬。

波士顿一年有五个月冰天雪地，和加州完全无法比。无霜期短。但是有些东西可以放到室内过冬。其中最容易的就是朝天椒和樱桃西红柿。

朝天椒第二年结果最佳。今年这棵盆小，还可以更大。第三年以后结果就差了。我养的最长寿的是五年。西红柿中只有樱桃品系可以过冬，也是第二年比第一年结果更多。养到三年后就半死不活了。
