离婚财产问题咨询

我母亲在中国把房产和收入换了几十万美元，陆陆续续寄到了我这里的银行账户，准备她退休后来这里生活时使用。
现在我自己的家里突然准备离婚，但我不想把这笔钱作为离婚时被平分的财产。
因为这笔钱虽然在我的账户里，但其实是我母亲将来在美国的养老钱。
请问诸位，如何能够避免对方在离婚官司中分掉这笔财产？先谢谢了！
