被海关抽查到货物，怎么一回事？

请教各位前辈，我刚有一批货（少量)通过DHL入关到美国，不幸被美国海关抽查到了，他们要求核实收货人就是我这边的真实性，要求我提供厂商的名字和，货物的材料。说是基本2天就clear,有没有前辈知道这个是什么一回事，严重吗。我这是头一次进货，怎么就遇到这事。谢谢大家。
