ebay tax question. Need advice.

I just started selling part time on ebay. I only do a couple thousands per month. I find out from 2011 ebay will issue 1099 form for $20k+ sales or 200+ transaction. It's hard to keep records and figure out the expense and profit since I am not selling big priced items. I do not even know how much money I make so far. What should I do?
