Rule of the thumb to do internet marketing is that
1) if they solicit you, then they can't do good marketing for you. So use the one who is "quite", rather than take the one who is "noisy".
2) always use reputable hosting company.
3) you have control of the contents of your website without having to get their permit when you need to update.

based on these. I am using Yahoo small business and Google Local Business list, both can place me on second position if one searches "delaware water gap hotels (or inns or lodging, in google)" or "pocono inns (in yahoo). there is no other hosting company has this power.

Yahoo small business is $9.99/month. If you want to use e-commerce, then it is $39.99/month (you need to find out yourself, I didn't use it because I don't need).Google is free. you don't need to know coding, just copy and paste your contents up.Then of course, to deal with these big company needs patience, I will post another piece about story of contacting Yahoo and Google in my 洋下海日记，when I have time.

It is not the case that big money and fancy website will yield good marketing results.
