我不是很确定你所说的　“report the $5000 as nominee distribution to the bank.”的含义．我的理解是，你将你的HELOC 的利息当做成本而单列（itemize)，如果你说的是这个，国税局对HELOC 有上限限制：１０万．你所提到的２０万已经超出了上限．
