做faculty越做越没劲, 天天都在想应该做点有激情的事

来美7年：5年拿到经济学博士学位，现在明尼苏达一大学任assistant professor 已有两年。家人朋友都觉得这份工作不错，起码稳定。可我越做越没劲。没办法，天生不喜欢教书做科研。当初读博因为好拿奖学金，到学校来因为好拿绿卡。（估计有很多人跟我一样:)现在绿卡还没拿到，大概还要1-2年。拿到绿卡前我不会辞职。我对现在的工作虽认真但毫无激情，总在想应该在有生之年尝试创业。坛子里有没有从faculty转而从商的？有什么经验借鉴吗？这也许是个傻问题因为太过泛泛。可偶现在天天在想这个，寝食难安。如果真的想创业，现在就要做准备。。。
