这个问题很有意思。这本书一开始就问了个问题

Washington, Franklin他们已经在社会阶层顶端，为什么冒着生命危险要独立？

Adams 倒是脾气火爆，可是对法律那么尊重，为什么要独立--那就是把法律踏在脚下啊

当然人和社会都是复杂的。但这句话太空洞。所以想听听这位作者的理解。
