NTFS Permission & Share Permission settings

windows xp, 2000中，每一台电脑上默认的共享文件夹只有WorkGroup中的Shared Folder。你看到的可能只是和你同一个workgroup上的其他电脑的Shared Folder。

只要你不共享你的Folder/Drive，别人是看不到你的文件的。

共享Folder时（不建议共享Drive)，可以设置NTFS permission及Share Permission (win home edition可能无此功能）。设置方法参考如下：

1) Start>Control Panel>Appearance & Themes>Folder Option,
uncheck "use simple sharing" on VIEW tab.

2) Right click on that folder, press"sharing & security"

3) Check "share this folder" on SHARING tab, and press Permission

4) Give the account permissions
