System memory 问题求教？？

我想给我的老SONY升一下System memory，想请教各位大虾。
1。我的机上原有的System memory是
DDR 2100 256M?
哪我是否就可以找任何一款的DDR2100 的memory就行了？

2。这个DDR (2100)是什么意思？我的机器能否装是DDR的但不是2100 的DDR memory哪？
