HELP:This disk in Drive D is not formatted

I have two hard disks, windows XP system. After I fdisk and format C:,
reinstall WinXP, I can not access another hard disk,D;, although I never touch
disk D when I reinstall system. When I double click drive D: it shows: "this
disk in Drive D is not formatted. Do you want to format it now?". I have a lot
important imformation in drive D. Please help, how can I get these files back
from drive D. By the way, the D itself is a 200G hard drive, but because my
winxp had no service package, I can only format it as 137G space.
