what's problem with e-machine

I have e-machine desktop for 2 years. Suddenly, no signal to monitor all the time. It is silent initially when turned on, but about 10 minites later, the computer fan is working and power switch bottom is on and both cannot be turned off unless unpluged. Monitor, Power and harddrive are fine by switching to other computer. Is it motherboard problem? Thank you.
