old SONY TRV27, the driver CD has a program can capture tape signal to mpeg file. buy a IEEE 1394 cable from AMAZON (same thing, but cheapest).
connect to VAIO. thats it. VAIO also has a prgram DVmotion, but i am not able to use it.
