请教，一个增加内存的初级问题

我的电脑内存是512兆，可以扩充到2g, 太贵了些。暂时想只增加一条1g 的内存，同原来的放在一起，这样也就有 1.5g 的内存了。 不知道可不可以，多谢多谢
