help please,laptop died,THANKS

as i was using 'pest partol' and 'symantec antivirus' scannig the laptop, power failed, since then, it could not be started up(power is on and the windowsXP shows up), looping around, showed the menu for options of the sartup:safe mode, safe mode with networking..., tried evey one, didn't work.
I learned these two software might be conflict, but how can I get it start the computer again?
