请教该买哪种无线网卡

我要买一个无线网卡，但是不太懂电脑硬件，特别怕买回来用不了，也不知道该买u*****接口的还是PCMCIA接口的
我的笔记本非常老，只有一个u***** 1.1接口，上网查了一下，说这样的速度就很慢，但是PCMCIA接口的无线网卡散热不好，容易掉线和死机。如果买USB的，速度会比PCMCIA的慢很多吗？
请问我这种老机子应该买哪种接口的无线网卡阿？买无线网卡还需要注意哪些指标啊？
