I know there is a tool called "NTFS for DOS". Here is
the link:
http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware/NTFSDOS.shtml

You can make a boot disk with this tool installed and
you can access the NTFS file system to see if you can
get your important stuff back.
