Help for uninstalled programs

I downloaded program from web and later uninstalled them. But later I found the uninstallation process was not clean-- some files were left with broken path. I tried to manually remove those files and get "specified path could not be found error". Anyone has similar experience, please help me to remove those junk files/directories to optimize my notebook. Thanks!
