计算机重启动问题

可能是个stupid的问题，请高手莫笑话，急得不行了。

我的计算机在计算，已经连续了快半个月了。谁知今天windows 2000自动升级，给我跳出个消息，说updating几乎完成了，要重启动机器，windows会自动在5分钟之内重启动。我当然选择'restart later'了。可是这个窗口不断的跳出，删也删不掉。我曾试图用task manager删除，过后还出现。我不知道晚上我不在时怎么办，怎么把这个该死的给删了，否则10多天的时间，程序中断了我还不跳楼？诚请高手指点。叩谢叩谢。
