Cannot detect a new Hard drive

Hi, Friends,

I need your helps.

I just bought a new 80G hard drive and installed in my PIII computer.
But my computer cannot detect the new hard drive.
I have two hard drives, including this new hard drive. The connection is correct. The old one is set as a primary master drive. The new one is set as a secondary master drive.

My computer can check the name of the new drive at the beginning of start. Even I use CMOS Setup to do HDD test, my computer cannot check the drive and is in a dead testing cycle.

The motherboard of my computer is P2-99.

Please help me out of this problem.
