请教一个关于买computer的问题

我最近想买一个本，可在Bestbuy里面看到的都觉得跟desktop比起来不划算，举个例子:
一个compaq的本, 2.0GHz, 512MB, Hard drive 80GB.... 差不多要$1200。 但是一个Sony desktop; 3.0GHz, 512MB, Hard drive: 200GB..... 才$1100
我想买个本，因为它省地方，可2.0GHz, 我觉得有点慢，我4年前买的computer还1.1呢. 可要是3.0的本那怎么也要$1400左右，我又觉得有点贵。谁知道一个本，2.5-3.0GHz, 512MB, Harddrive: 80GB, 其他的accessories 差点也没关系. $1300以下，能学么到吗? 还有大家觉得是买本值还是买desktop值 (本除了方便以外，其他的跟desktop区别不大)
