我的WIN2K汉字显示问题还为解决

多谢老靴出手.But, it seems that I can't 依您的提示执行.

On the top of the "Regional Options" window are 6 options from left to right and the very left one is "General". In "General", the upper part is "Settings for the current user" in which there is a "Your locale (location)" 下拉窗口, I select English (United States) now. But, just now I tried to change it to Chinese (PRC) and restarted computer, those Chinese softwares I downloaded before still can' show Chinese. The lower part of 'General" is "language settings for the system". I've selected Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese in there. At the bottow right of "General" is "Advanced" options. 点击进入后是"Code page conversion tables", and I've selected all the Chinese fonts in that table (both 灰的and 黑的).

I dont' find '为东亚语言安装文件'in "Regional Options". Where is it? 诚请进一步赐教. By the way, I'd like to solve this problem in English Win 2K if possible. I don't want to re-install a Chinese version Win 2K.
