为何新装的Win2K不支持某些Chinese fonts

诸位高人,

偶诚心请教. My laptop is an old one (PIII), I've used it with Win98 for years.
I just installed Win2000 for it the other day, supposing it can support all
the common-used Chinese fonts. However, It can't. I downloaded "紫光输入法",
在安装过程中,那些对话框里的汉字就不能显示.装完后,软件自身的汉字都是乱码,不work
. The movie I'm downloading from BT@China, the Chinese in its file name is 乱
码too. I've selected all the Chinese fonts in Control panel/Regional
Options/Language settings for the system. Could you pls help me to solve this
problem? Thanks a lot!
