FTP问题：学校知道我的一切行动吗？

想向大家请教一下，如果我用美国大学系里正规的ftp，我的一举一动，包括几时以什么帐号上网，阅览及下载了那些文件，系里的IT人员是不是全都知道/有历史记载？我本来下载了作业但想一口咬定我没下（当然是因为我懒得做），不知道老师能不能查出来？万分感谢！
