两台机network(wired)后, host机变得特别慢

两台机network (CAT5 wired)后, host机变得特别慢, 请问怎么办?
Client PC倒没变慢.

另外,Norton Firewall的Internet access Control中, Generic Host Process for Win32 Services是干什么用的?
Host机必须选Permit All, Client PC才能沟通Host PC, 但是选后不断有病毒进入C:\WINNT\ system32\

选 Automatic后Client PC却无法沟通Host PC, 请问又怎么办?


Host PC: Windows 2000pro, 256MB RAM.
Client PC: Windows 98se, 160MB RAM.
Shared DSL, file transfer between PCs.
Wire: CAT5, PCI Router, PCI Adapter.
