why is there a error message

hi after i got cable internet (roadrunner), when i turn off my computer i have this error message sound but the message does not come up. The sound comes up after the icon disapper when turning off the computer.i have even delete everthing and star the computer as a new one.my computer is a desktop from sony. Please help me solve this problem. i will be thankful
