Help: how to use Chinese CD's?

Several weeks ago when I travled back to China, I got several CD's that are supposed for simplified Chinese systems. I tested them on a computer with windows XP OS, and they were all fine. After coming back, I realized that I can't use any of them becuase my English version OS can't recognize the file names and directory names. For my computer, is there a solution to this problem? Thanks.
