Question for Excel.

In my Excel page, whole columns filled with $123, $121, $131and $122..........,
(I copied from web page), I can not do any calculation, I think they not numbers, just some "pictures" I guess,
Ask: how do I delete all these "$" signs? and turn them to real numbers?
