卸载 .net 后，Win2000系统变慢，How to f

安装 Microsoft 的visual studio.net,发现原来的Comapaq Visul Fortran can not work. Then uninstall the .net, found Window 2000 is very slow. How can I fix this problem?

Some guy suggest me to format the harddisk to remove the junk left by Microsoft, but this job seems to huge for me. Can someone suggest some simple way to handle this trouble?
