Never used NEC-Mitsubishi LCD before, I can't give you suggestions about that. What I can say is NEC-Mitsubishi is one of the top brands in the LCD market.

I used 3 Dell LCDs in 3 years. I'm satisfied with the quality of Dell LCD. No any deal pixel or any other problems. Also considering the price, Dell is about 30% cheaper than others, it's really tempting. I'm not sure about 2005FP. but 2001FP does have good reputation.
