why not install xp over 2000?

我在C装了98，fat32格式
d装了2000,nfts格式，启动都没有问题。在e装完xp后(同为ntfs)，启动后，2000的启动选项消失，98还可以进的，。装的时候按着从低级到高级的顺序，分别装在不同分区。
