powerpoint in use

I am about to print a one-slide poster in powerpoint with vertical layout. The thing is that it seems all slides' layout in powerpoint are horizontal.

I certainly know it could be solved by adding some vertical text or something like that, then print it out by changing its layout to vertical in printer's properties. But, as we all know, it will make design more complicated.

Can anyone tell me how to have a vertical slide in design in powerpoint.
