Try a smaller HD (<137GB)

I also experienced corrupted hard drive partion with Window 2000 SP4 and 200GB HD. While it claims support for hard drive > 137 GB, I suspect it still doesn't handle large HD well.

Try to get a smaller HD, say 120GB or smaller. It might solve your problem. And let us know your result.
