Verizon's DSL deal

Want sign up for the one year deal, 29.95 per month, 1st month free, free modern and wireless router (802.11g), MSN software.

The only thing I don't like is the speed, I think they say the max speed is only 756kb/128kb. Our local cable company says their cable could get speed of 3Mb. However, I was told if every house in the block uses cable, it will significantly reduce the speed.

At 756kb, is it fast enough to support a wireless rounter? We have three PC in the house. Many thanks in advance.
