Help! Water spilled on laptop

I accidentally spilled water on my laptop, now it doesnt work any more. I felt extremely bad and I am really screwed now. Is anyone here has any good suggestion to fix the problem. it is a sony vaio f-540, 3 year old, but i dont wanna buy a new one right now.
