Question about transfered file

from Mac to Window system? I did my experiment files on Mac system computer (using photoshop, BMP file), and copied it in disk after being transformed into IBM compatiable files, now it couldn't be opened on Window's system. Those files are important to me, anybody know how to do this? Thanks!
