Please help with POP UP window

When I use Internet Explorer lately, pop up windows came out frequently. It never happened before. I tried several pop up blocker softwares, but they did not work. I think my Internet Explorer was hacked since the pop up windows were always about some eMarket Group. And sometimes, I was directed to a Shopnov website. I also feel there are sth working in the background of windows since my computer cannot go to Stand By anymore. :-(

I don't know what happened since I did not download anything from the web lately. The pop up thing is driving me crazy now. Could someone help me with the problem?
