Help!!

Anyone can tell me why :

I use IE to surf net, sometimes the web page just freeze up, not responding at all, and I have to restart the pc to resolve it.

I thought there is somewhere in IE that can be set up for some kind of memory size ??????? Any one good suggestion as to what is going on.
