Help, a network problem.

I am doing a home networking. I a roll of bought Cat5e cable and connectors and tools and went to work. The first computer connected, no problem. The second compute connected, no problem. The third one connected, not working. After few tests, I noticed that it is the length of the Cat5e cable. If the cable is less than 20 feet, no problem. If the cable is longer than 30 feet, not working.

I thought the cable should work up to 300 feet. But I can only get one tenth of it. What is the problem?
