请教laptop没有ethernet cable插座的问题

学校的图书馆可以用自己的laptop上网，只要自己的机子里有10/100 Ethernet PCMCIA card，再有RJ45 ethernet cable救行了，昨天兴冲冲地买来cable，晚上想试试，却发现自己的laptop没有ethernat cable插座，只有一般的电话线插座，它比ethernat cable插座要小，ethernat cable没法插进去，请教一下，有没有能解决的方法？我的机子里有3Com 10/100 Mini PCI Ethernet Adapter。多谢多谢！
