VP-1020A card question

The dish that points to Echostar 3 (61.5°W) has signal strength of over 100/125 in the dish receiver. But when feeding it to VP-1020A (LNB to VP-1020A directly, no switch in between), the signal strength is in red (about 30% percent) and the quality is 0% in VisionDTV. Nothing can be played in VisionDTV and MyTheatre. Yes the channels are encrypted, but I expect a higher signal strength. Thanks for the help.
