what's wrong with my notebook?

I found my notebook became very slowly recentely.
There is a programme named CIDAEMON.EXE on the task list, which use about 95% of the CPU. The computer can run faster after I end the process.
I am not sure whether it is a normal or a virus programme? By the way, I didn't install the vitural drive.
