HELP! my computer is dead.

There is no light on when I press the power button. There is nothing strange when I turned it off last night. I changed a different electric outlet, but noything changed. It seems there is no power to the computer, but a small light on the mainboard is on when I plug in the power cable to the electric outlet. This is a Dell PC i bought last september. Please HELP me! I appreciate your help!
