Any expert, help please

Last night I installed some stupid software, which required a reboot after installation. But from then on my computer can't boot, to hard drive, floppy or cd-rom. It will hang after a few system messages displayed. So I can't try anything, like flashing the bios etc. Though I can set the system configurations,but that doesn't do anything.

Any expert? Any idea what I can do to get it to start so that I can get the files on the machine?
