如果连接两台计算机

这是我连接两台计算机的办法。我不懂原理，但是连成过多对计算机，从98到XP，我的步骤如下，希望没有遗漏。

1. TCP/IP protocol
2. File and Printer sharing for Microsoft Network
3. Set same workgroup but different network ID for each computer
4. Created same administrator user account and password for each computer
5. Enable areas (partitions or folders) to be shared with modified permissions – remove everyone but add the user created by step 4.
6. Under Windows XP, Control Panel – Administrative Tools – Local Security Policies – Local Policies – Security Options – Network Access: Sharing and security model for local accounts, change from default “guest” to “classic – local users authenticate as themselves”.
7. That is it! But sometime you have to wait for up to half an hour before seeing others.
