router+adsl+two computer again

I am connecting two computers through router (st lab ) to adsl. I have set up TCP/IP for two computers. I was supposed to be able to configure the router then from my computer. However once I run the internet explorer by http://192.168.1.1 to contact the router, it failed. upgrad firmware dialogue appears. And I have no path for it. so it stuck. Can anyone help me out please!
