鼠标USB口转串口不工作

笔记本没有PS2鼠标接口,所以买了个USB/串口转换器,但是插在电脑上后,鼠标还是不工作(重启后也不认).是否需要特殊的鼠标驱动程序??我的电脑是XP的操作系统.给点建议,先多谢各位大虾了.
