winxp--ican use it two days ag

suddently cant use!
i have installed chinese key input and have been using that for months, and in the language it is "chinese", but when i press the shift key, it cant not change in between chinese and english except in oicq and yahoo messanger; for example, now, i cant type chinese while it is "chinse" show on the language bar.
and have restarted, still no use.
dont know whats wrong?
