Are you sure you didn't mass up with your searching
path? Normally "ping.exe" is located under one of

C:WINDOWS (or C:WINTNT)
C:WINDOWSSYSTEM (or C:WINNT...)
C:WINDOWSSYSTEM32 (or C:WINNT...)

Just use "Search" or "Find" to find out where "ping.exe"
is now.
