windows 2000 install problem

I had 2000 and xp on my computer. when I use patition magic to install another copy of 2000 on my computer, first I get "NTLDR is missing". After I copy NTLDR, Ntdetect.com and Boot.ini to a floppy then restart my computer, I did login to windwos 2000. But the screen keeps changing between "loading your personal settings" and "saving your personal settings". Any hint will be greatly appreciated!
